What is the E28A Investor KITAS?
E28A Investor KITAS, also known as the Indonesian General Investment Visa, is a visa for foreigners who invest in an Indonesian company and want to manage it in the country.
Eligibility Criteria
A foreign individual is eligible for an E28A Investor KITAS in Indonesia if they invest a minimum of 10 billion Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in a company established within the country, allowing them to live and manage their business operations there as a director or commissioner of the company.
Essentially, this visa is for individuals who want to actively invest and manage a business in Indonesia.
Requirements
- Original Passport: Must be valid for a minimum of 18 months.
- Visa Validity: Current visa must have at least 60 days remaining.
- Entry/Current Visa Stamp: A valid entry stamp or current visa stamp is required.
- Domicile Letter: Issued by the local Banjar (community office).
- Police Report: A valid police clearance certificate.
- Company Sponsor Documents: Includes the Articles of Association issued by a public notary, legalized Articles of Association from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, domicile letter, and company tax registration documents.
- Passport Photograph: A standard, professionally taken photograph meeting the required dimensions for official documentation.
- Selfie Photograph: A clear, front-facing photograph of yourself, used for identity verification.
- Bank Statement: A document showing a minimum balance of $2,000, required as proof of financial stability.
