How to Obtain Visa On Arrival (VoA) in Indonesia

To get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for Indonesia, you can apply online or at the airport:
Online
You can apply for an Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) at imigrasi.go.id:
  • Go to the website and fill out the form
  • Check and pay for the form
  • Wait for the e-VOA to be processed
  • Check your email for a notification that the e-VOA is ready
  • Download and print the e-VOA
At the airport
You can purchase a VOA at the VOA counters in the arrival halls:
  • Bring a passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Bring a return ticket
  • Bring cash or a credit card

Things You Need To Know About VoA in Indonesia

  • You can apply for an e-VOA up to three months before your arrival date
  • The VOA is valid for 30 days from the date your passport is stamped
  • You can extend the VOA once at a local Immigration Office in Indonesia for an additional 30 days
  • The extension fee is Rp. 500,000
  • The VOA cannot be converted to another type of stay permit
