What is the E31 Family KITAS?

The E31 Family KITAS is a visa for family members of Indonesian citizens or KITAS holders

Eligibility Criteria

The E31 Family KITAS is designed for individuals who meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Spouses of KITAS or KITAP Holders:

  • Legally married partners of a KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit) or KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit) holder.

2. Children of KITAS or KITAP Holders:

  • Unmarried children under 18 years of age whose parent holds a KITAS or KITAP.

3. Dependents of Foreign Workers:

  • Family members of foreign workers employed in Indonesia under a valid work permit.

4. Required Documentation:

  • Valid passport with sufficient validity for the KITAS duration.
  • Marriage or birth certificate to prove the family relationship.
  • Sponsor documents from the KITAS/KITAP holder.

 

The E31 Family KITAS does not permit employment in Indonesia but provides legal residency for dependents of foreign nationals.

Benefits of the E31 Family KITAS

  • Initial Stay: Valid for 2 months upon arrival in Indonesia.
  • Extension: The visa can be extended up to two times, with each extension allowing an additional 60 days.
  • Extension Process: Begin the extension process at least 7 business days before the current visa expires.
